Review on πŸ”Š Edifier R2000DB Studio Monitors: Powered Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers with Optical Input, 120 Watts RMS - Black by Eh Chit ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The right product for me, there were no problems.

If you do not take into account Bluetooth, then the speakers are excellent. They look great. And maybe I'm just being picky. It should be understood that the emphasis here is on the bass: it is very, very powerful, IMHO, even when the settings are turned to a minimum.

Pros
  • - build quality and materials (I watched a detailed review where the speakers were disassembled) - appearance - fairly compact size - if you have a separate, non-built-in sound card and connected via an optical cable, the sound is very juicy and detailed, details are clearly audible, powerful bass, very lively voice transmission even when playing from Music through a browser
Cons
  • - Disgusting sound quality when playing via Bluteooth. I tried to transmit via Honor 20 Viwe (Bluetooth 5) and iPad Pro (2022) 12.9 with the fourth version of Bluetooth - the iPad has better sound on the speakers, but you still expect more. Personally, I can’t listen to music on these speakers via bluetooth: very unbalanced sound due to the old version of the protocol (Bluetooth version 4 on speakers) - these are not the speakers that I brought from the store, turned on and immediately stick out. I had to tinker. I bought an inexpensive built-in Asus Sonar SE card, connected it via an optical cable (not the one that came with the kit, but bought a better one) - and then the speakers revealed their potential.
