Mine came with the glass unattached and all 4 metal pins in the box. The pins are easy to place on the base, but nothing holds them, allowing them to rotate freely. Once you put the glass on top, the pins stay upright, and once you put the car on top, the weight keeps everything in place. Previously this was annoying when I move it around the counter to find a good spot and I can't grab the glass or the glass just falls off. Once I find a suitable place for it, I probably won't move it too often, so I just forget about it. Lots of other reviewers say they've reordered and had the same issue with a replacement so I don't think it's worth returning. The drawer slides out fine, but the inside is plastic. I'm considering buying super glue or hot glue to attach the pins and glass to the base, but I think it will be strong enough even without glue. All in all, it's just "er," okay for my purposes, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know.
