I bought one of these and returned it because I couldn't get it to turn on. Revain sent me a replacement and I had the same issue with the second item. I was wondering if this was user error so I came here to ask a question on how to deal with this. Others said that this flashlight comes with a light sensor and works best in a dark place. Of course I took it to the windowless bathroom, turned off the light, waved my hand in front of that light and it came on immediately. BRIGHT. When I tested it in a room with a window late in the afternoon on an overcast day, the lights wouldn't come on because the sun was letting in enough light not to trigger the ambient light sensor. I feel bad going back to the first one. It probably worked fine, but I didn't test it in the right environment. (Sorry Amazon.) This should work fine in the shower room in our bathroom, which is very poorly lit.
