This is a very clean sounding Bluetooth receiver with lots of ways to connect it to your system. I only used RCA connectors as my current system doesn't have a coaxial or optical input. It also has a very solid construction, with most of the body being aluminum. It sometimes disappears for a split second upon listening, but not as often as before, probably due to the presence of an antenna (which someone else made). No). My conclusion is that the entire Bluetooth audio technology still needs to be further developed so that the sound does not drop out from time to time over long distances. However, given the performance improvement, I would recommend it to others who don't have an antenna.
