Liked the idea, just uncomfortable
Working from home and not moving much, my hips were really starting to numb. I tried this stool for two weeks and it just doesn't feel comfortable. The wood portion of the seat is too wide and digs into your inner thighs, and the lack of padding means your tailbone rests on a metal support where the seat attaches to the base. I'm 5ft 8in and 160lbs so maybe someone taller would suit me better. That being said I have greatly improved my hips when sitting in this position compared to a standard writing chair and I will be looking for a stool/saddle. the stool is more comfortable.
