Review on ⚾ Louisville Slugger Soft Toss Training System, Enhanced for Maximum Black by Joe Glass

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Easy and fun with some features

I really enjoyed this so the kids on the baseball team I coach can charge up and throw gently. For the most part it works well, but there are a few things that really annoy me. ADVANTAGES: The motor part is very simple and ingenious to use gravity to otherwise deliver a throw. I expect the motor will run for some time even on AA batteries. It can be made into a very good quality t-shirt and it's pretty easy to switch between the two. The tee seems solid when I hit it a few times and it still folds properly. - I can walk around and pick up balls or watch a player kick from different angles when they get hit. DISADVANTAGES: - About every 5th ball falls off the ladder. Maybe my ramp is bent or something. Anyway it's very frustrating now that I'll wait up to 20, maybe 30 seconds between throws if I'm not lucky. - After the ball falls, the entire ramp will swing and bounce, discarding subsequent throws. I have to manually touch the ramp to dampen the vibrations. It wouldn't be difficult to add a damper connecting the end of the ramp to the support post, but the product designers should have noticed and taken this into account. children) and only fit 8 at a time. 10-15 seems to be the best number and other Toss machines offer this. - Carryback is too small. I mean, anything goes, but not without conscious effort and careful placement.
