These yoga pants are beautiful so I wear them despite the odd fit. In the model in the description, the seam reaches to the hips and the bodice is held at the waist. I bought the size Large as I usually wear yoga pants (I usually wear a size XL) - the legs fit perfectly but the top is very high; The seam goes to my waist and the top of the pant goes over my 6 month pregnant belly almost to my bra like maternity pants. My height is 5 feet 5 inches. Also, I wore these pants to the store with my phone in my side pocket and stopped a few times to pull my pants back up like a little girl losing her tights - quite embarrassing. But I wear them at home because they are so cute and I only have my phone in my pocket at home for a short time. Can't think of a size M because they fit everywhere and I'm a tall girl at the moment - 5ft 5in, 190lbs. Hope that helps.
