Most importantly, this interface works with my 2006 Jeep Commander's tricky CAN bus with the built in amp. The PAC C2R-CHY4 (which was installed by the previous owner) ran for about a year before it suddenly started driving my dash crazy with 5 volt blackouts every few seconds. Disabling the PAC interface module solved the problem, but replacing it with a new one didn't solve the problem. In PAC's defense, their tech informed me that they no longer support Jeep Commanders with their interface products. (Revain also doesn't give you the green words "fits your car". I left that out because I was replacing something that worked in the past). Axxess CHTO-01 has been working great for the past few days since installation. So we keep our fingers crossed. Now for the connection instructions. IF you can work on connections comfortably at the kitchen table with a drink; and IF you have been blessed with at least one hour of absolute silence; and IF you have experience connecting with color codes; AND IF you have the basic tools from the splice kit THEN you can make perfect splices. Note, however, that many connectors and cables are not used and that this simple sentence should be added to the end of the instructions: Ensure that each multi-pin socket on the interface module is occupied by a plug.
