I was looking for new sandals and came across these. This is my first time ordering from this manufacturer and I want more. They are comfortable and have excellent sole support. The insoles have a softer suede feel. They claim they are good for hiking and the beach. I've done light hikes/walks and they support me enough to make such hikes enjoyable. I would not recommend hiking on hard trails or hiking on steep slopes/rocks. As for the beach, they're good at the sand or strolling around the beach town, which is where we often go. I will definitely not put it in the water. On these days we go to the beach, but we don't swim, that's fine. They're convenient right out of the box. They don't have to be broken. The coffee-sand color goes with almost any summer outfit. I will buy another pair in pink and gray when they become available in my size.
