This one just didn't work well - it was difficult to turn, and because the knob was flimsy plastic, I kept worrying about breaking it if I had to try harder. Also the plastic slots that are supposed to hold the cork when it comes out didn't work so it often didn't come all the way out of the bottle and I had to pull it out as a last step. Eventually you should be able to unscrew the plug slightly to remove it from the screw - but again the plug just twisted and the screw stayed in place. I think the problem is that the screw is too thick and not flexible enough - not "spring steel"; and the handle is too flexible. I'm still looking for one like the few I already have that work like a charm.
