As a quick historical note: in the 70's we needed a terabit, not a byte, of storage space for vast amounts of different data collected in different places by different means. We had almost an acre of subterranean vaults with electronic, magnetic and mechanical facilities. Now I get 4TB on a plain drive! It's fast, reliable and unbeatable in price. As we expand into all-electronic storage, this device will become indispensable. I've found that we double our storage needs every 3-4 years, so we always stay ahead of the onion wave. And compared to the "cloud", I know who has my data and where it is. Excellent purchase!
