Review on Waterproof Baby Travel Booster Seat Backpack with Diaper Bag – Easy Clean Portable Toddler Feeding Cushion for Dining Table (Booster Seat & Backpack) by Nelly Villanueva

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Great idea but a few downsides...

When our older kids were little we had a hard plastic folding seat that held up well for years but wasn't that comfortable to carry, so I liked the idea to attach it to the backpack. The setup guide was easy and only took a few minutes. In one of the steps, you release the air valve to inflate the cushion, which zips up to the bottom of the seat. Mine didn't stretch much; certainly not as much as pictured or as I've seen in another review. Here's my overall rating for the features: Pros: - Easy to install - Condensed to be carried around in a backpack - Material is water-resistant so spills won't soak up and are easy to wipe up - Multiple compartments in the bag for storing diapers and Other consumables in goCons: - We were unable to attach it to our regular high back dining chairs as the straps had to be routed over the back of the chair and were not long enough for a secure fit. - The shoulder straps on the bag itself are quite short. You can adjust them, but in order for them to fit, the actual soft part is only in the middle of the shoulder (see picture). There is a pocket for napkins on the side of the bag, but it is quite small. I really had to put a pack of handkerchiefs in there and then you can't get to it through the hole because it's too small and doesn't reach the material. - There is nothing to raise the seat so the child sits at the usual chair height. This is often too low for a table, but there is no tray holder either. This is a padded seat with no shoulder straps. I would NOT use this with young children as I don't think it would be safe. If you lean to the side, the side wall sags. Overall, I love the idea of this seat/bag, but as you can see from my list of cons, there were a few elements that weren't well executed or thought through. This would be a great product at $30-40 but it's currently $96 and for that price I'm expecting a lot more so I can't give it more than 3 stars. Please let me know if this review was helpful!
