A great find for those on a budget who want a stylish nursery! It's just as durable as more expensive ones, don't let the negative reviews fool you. The mattress/pillow is a bit thin but to be honest how firm they need to be is fine. Sheet that comes with the kit. not good. I put it under extra sheets that I bought that are waterproof because let's be realistic: kids make a lot of messes. and the additional thin layer of sheet metal supplied with it improves the sheet metal fit and reduces some plastic seal noise. Lots of reviews have complained about the tape and if it's that important, just go to a craft store and buy another tape. The tape won't touch the baby, so that's okay, and it's a great way to customize the look even more. I just use what came in the kit and googled how to tie the right bow. It took a few tries, but eventually I got it right. downstairs is small but enough for a few spare sheets, diapers and extra baby clothes in case of a midnight explosion. Not too big, but not useless either. The wheels roll smoothly and lock and unlock easily (but don't accidentally lock or unlock). They flip over to go into rocking mode, but you have to lift them up a bit to do so, so you'll have to take the baby out to do it. Again. Not a big deal, especially at such a low price. Quality, appearance and safety are excellent! It will have fewer frills but for something you will only be using for 4-5 months I think this is by far the best value. Noise pacifiers and the like can be bought separately and then grow with the baby when they move to a regular cot and are portable when using the play area and that's really the only major difference between this and a bassinet twice the price or is more expensive. .*NOTE* In the picture you can see the creases in the fabric and ribbon from the day I put it together. They've since flattened out, but if you have a steamer or tumble dry them on low with a slightly damp cloth, they'll loosen up. The fabric is very light, but some complain that it's thin. There's no reason for him to be fat. This is of course still very aesthetic and not transparent. It serves its purpose without being bulky (except for the bed sheet, as I said. The bed sheet isn't great, but it's a great base for better quality sheets. If you're buying a carry cot for a real baby and expecting you will do it only need one sheet, that sets you up for a lot of stress in the future lol!)
