The ratio of response to a given amount of water is clearly stated on the bottle and gives a very clear indication of what changes you can expect. 500ml bottles have a plunger at the top, and each time you press it, the exact amount of product stated on the bottle is dispensed. The Gh/Kh ratio is again very precise and the result is a very constant water quality. This material is designed for use with RO or RO/DI water, but can be used with other relatively soft water if you have access to it. The water produced in my home has a total hardness of only 60ppm and my discus results have been excellent.
