Update 9/5/18: After I posted my first review describing the faulty items, the seller contacted me and offered to send a replacement, to solve the problem. The package arrived within a few days. The new charger works as described and I was able to charge the batteries in the kit. Everything has powered my controllers well so far. Apparently I received the wrong item on my first missed approach and Bonacell fixed it to my satisfaction. Now I can recommend both the product and the company. Thank you Boncell. Original Review: I have two genuine Microsoft Wireless 360 controllers and have tested this kit with both. Batteries cannot be charged with the charging or control cable. The light on the base is green (full) when there's no battery and doesn't turn red (charging) unless you plug in the battery, in which case it won't even charge. The batteries will not charge even if you ignore the indicators and keep the batteries in until they are installed. I tried cleaning the contacts but to no avail. The indicator light on the controller cable does not come on at all even though the controller turns on so there is no battery status indicator but I left it plugged in for 4 hours and the battery did not charge. As mentioned, the controller cable is not recognized as a data cable, so you must use wireless pairing, but the controller cable sleeve covers the pairing button. Absolutely useless and waste of money.
