It serves specific needs. Recommended

It came with Windows 10 Pro Version 1909 preinstalled. I added a new SSD (TCSUNBOW M.2 2242 - 240GB - ASIN: B078H6F9HF) and installed Windows 10 v2004 from scratch and Linux Debian 10 on an old 64GB SSD. I didn't need to install/update drivers after installing on Windows 10 and the license activated automatically. All components have been automatically identified. Remember that to install the new SSD you will need to remove the heatsink and reapply the thermal paste. This new SSD has made the mini pc a bit faster but the CPU is slow overall BUT as mentioned it serves a purpose and I'm happy with it as it only draws 6W during peak load and the CPU temp just goes up. up to 57-58 degrees Celsius max (49 when idle). Also, I really like the small factor, it's really tiny. It has a small fan. I can't hear it, but when you touch the device you can feel a slight vibration. YouTube videos play at 1080p but stutter for around 3-4 seconds to stabilize and not drop frames. Netflix 1080p works well too, but not perfect. You'll notice a few micro-pauses about every 5-7 seconds. The same applies to MKV files (1080p/4GB) when running from USB and SSD. The read/write speed for the new SSD is around 460 MB/s. It's pretty quick. Default is defined as "Generic SLD64G" in Win10. I don't remember the speeds on Windows, but they were around 250MB/s (read) and 150MB/s (write). Debian runs fast on this disk. For me it is very good value for money. I actually installed a virtual machine (Debian 18.04) and it works fine. Yes it supports virtualization lol. I ran some tests using the Linux "stress-ng" command and here are the results: Command: stress-ng --cpu x --cpu-ops 9000Beelink T34-M (Debian 10)CPU1=65.25sCPU2=37.61sCPU3 = 29.71 sCPU4 = 27.70 sBeelink T34-M (Windows Subsystem for Linux - WSL - Ubuntu 18.04)CPU1 = 67.56 sCPU2 = 37.47 sCPU3 = 29.72 sCPU4 = 25.68 s Armbian (CPU Amlogic S905X3) CPU1 = 218.41 sCPU2 = 124.22 sCPU334 = 124.22 sCPU3 The BIOS has been installed since July 2020, so it is new.
