This is currently Panasonic's only lithium-ion beard trimmer, the others are older and cheaper. Take a step towards something better! 2. The motor is the strongest I've ever had, it sounds different, very very fast, very very smooth. My other trimmer sometimes felt like it was pulling my long beard, thing sounds like starting a Formula 1 engine, very nice sound and performance.3. Crazy fine tuning! The thing can regulate itself very precisely, much better than my previous trimmers.4. Sturdy and well built, it doesn't look like a toy. It's like Trimmer from Rolex, a little bigger, a little heavier, carefully crafted and assembled. Waterproof?! This item can withstand a shower adventure or a quick wash to get it back in shape! Others in this series do not offer this. So who should buy this? Someone who wants to spoil themselves with something better. We all trim our beard or body hair often to make it a peaceful activity!
