This is my pup's first pack and he has responded well to it. It's ready to go and ready to go right out of the box. My dog is a 62# German Shepherd and the medium size fit him perfectly, he was just on the edge of measurements. I would recommend assessing if your dog has a large chest. The pack didn't move when we visited the dog park either. He could walk perfectly in a backpack. The packaging is also very robust. I've included a photo of the straps for those who use them. There are two areas where improvement can be made: the fabric and the size of the pockets. I would only increase to pocket size. The standard size collapsible water bowl does not fit a water bottle. I can fit a 3 cup water bottle and poop bag on each side and that's it. The backpack heats it up a lot. Bigger so I'll probably carry more water for him in my bag along with his bowl 😕 I also thought it was worth noting that the fabric is a fur magnet and although it seems very strong it does keep the dog warm.
