Better than I expected

A few months ago I damaged my dining table with chemical hair bleach (very stupid). One way or another, the table started to look worse over time. I bought a tablecloth but it didn't fit me because the table is an unusual size and shape. I have used contact paper for counters and walls in the past and swear by the 3M brand which I often order from Ebay (from China). This is not an option given what is happening right now (Covid-19). I was skeptical because I came across a very cheap contact paper that doesn't stick. I didn't expect much. As you can see, I set the table and from a distance you can't even tell that it's contact paper. I did it literally 20 minutes after it arrived and it was quick (I have experience). I used a razor for precision and also used glue spray (optional). I just wanted to make sure it would stick and I had to rearrange a few pieces. You don't have to use glue, but it helps (got it from Walmart) in case you need to take it off and put it back on. It was supposed to be blue/grey/gold but it looks black/grey/gold to me and it goes really well with my black decor anyway. I bought 2 and have plenty left but one didn't last the whole table so buy more than you need for your project. Hope I helped someone!
