I bought this skirt as part of a revealing outfit that I wore to a special occasion. It worked perfectly. It was combined with other products made of similar material. It was very brief, which is what I needed in this particular case. Your underwear or bottom will definitely stick out from behind. It's kind of a short story. There is a piece of fabric that converts into shorts that protects your privates really well. This is a black, thin, non-shiny, breathable material. I personally cut it because the meaning of the outfit for me was a slim character. But if you want to keep it for privacy, it should definitely be pretty effective. Overall for the price I would definitely buy a similar skirt again if I wear or ruin this one over time.
