I have three relatively new lightweight 20" monitors. Each weighs less than 10 pounds. While quite sturdy as other reviews have noted, it states both ends quite a bit of play.The center is perfectly straight and even (yes I checked with the actual plane.) Both the left and right monitors are flush with the center monitor and hang slightly to the left and right so you can am Tilt your head at the end to see them. When you line them up, there's a pretty noticeable gap between the bottom of the center monitor and the bottom of the two outer monitors. Almost a centimeter. If you can handle that, it's fine. There If the side arms are not individually adjustable up and down, there is no way to fix this.
