I need a cable to connect my laptop to a Thunderbolt hub on my desk. I have constant cable congestion and thought it would be great to have an ultra short cable. The cables work at lightning speed as advertised, but the cable's stiffness makes it difficult to connect anything that isn't a direct port-to-port connection. My Mac sits on a vertical stand so the TB ports are on the side, and the necessary rotation to align the stubs causes torsion that causes my hub to sit at an odd angle.
