It's pretty tough. at Computer Accessories and Peripherals

I need a cable to connect my laptop to a Thunderbolt hub on my desk. I have constant cable congestion and thought it would be great to have an ultra short cable. The cables work at lightning speed as advertised, but the cable's stiffness makes it difficult to connect anything that isn't a direct port-to-port connection. My Mac sits on a vertical stand so the TB ports are on the side, and the necessary rotation to align the stubs causes torsion that causes my hub to sit at an odd angle.

THUNDERBOLT COMES AND GOES LIKE FIREWIRE AND THE OTHERS. THIS IS A FASHION.

CONNECTORS ARE THE BEST PART AND THE CABLES DRAW HIGH CURRENT. VERY insufficient. SPEED IS A RELATIVE ASPECT TO WHAT YOU MEASURE. FILE TYPE SIZE OS SYSTEM INCLUDED AND ENABLED. THEY DON'T BEND. MADE IN CHINA WHO KNOWS IF THEY ARE RADIOACTIVE OR TOXIC? BUT THEY WORK AND GOOD.

That does not work. best in Cables & Interconnects

I am not sure whether this cable is defective or simply not suitable for my application. I tried to connect a Blackjet UX-1 card reader to an M1 Mac Mini and it wouldn't install no matter what I did. The power light on the UX-1 only lights up when a Thunderbolt cable is connected, so I know SOMETHING. happened, but the Mac didn't have any cards installed and the UX-1 didn't show up as a Thunderbolt device in System Information. Went to Best Buy and bought a genuine Apple Thunderbolt cable andโ€ฆ
