I didn't realize how much the convenience of a cordless vacuum was missing from my life until it appeared and now I don't know how to live without it! This particular model was very easy to set up out of the box and was well packaged for shipping with no damage. There were a few pieces of tape on the various components that had to be removed and one left a tiny piece that was fairly easy to remove. You will need a screwdriver to attach the handle to the body with a screw; Otherwise the parts just stick together. The instructions were very simple and easy to read. In terms of usability, this is a great model. It's easy to put on and take off the charging base, and the charging base has a small footprint, just 2 inches wider than the base of the vacuum cleaner itself. The indicator light gives you a quick view of the power level. My favorite aspect of this vacuum is that because the power/motor is in the center you can actually reach out and pull out the handle to get into a corner or other tricky spot and then snap it back into full vacuum — Don't turn anything on and off! It just keeps working. Note that the storage bag will need to be emptied frequently - it may contain a cup of collected material. But very easy to remove and clean. So far, my favorite area of application for a vacuum cleaner has been carpet stairs. Very efficient and no more trying to work around cables or find convenient plugs. Done in 1/3 the time!
