You will need some tools

I've always wanted to try one of these 3D wooden puzzles. I put it together in about two and a half hours, partly because I had to find the tools to finish it. It's really cool now that it's finished, but it doesn't present any difficulties in assembling. The first problem you will encounter is the combination for the lock, the directions are really unclear. I ended up just putting it back together and looking at the lock while turning it and figuring out what the combination was (if you want to put the rubber band on the lock, it's a step of stopping and doing it). The next problem is that the wood is rough and doesn't move smoothly. It comes with hard wax (like a candle). I don't know if you want to melt it or something, but it's useless in a solid cold state and I didn't want the hot wax to cool and stick things together. I sprayed the moving parts with PAM (yes, cooking spray) and now it runs like a well-oiled machine. Third. You need tools. You'll have to cut the tiny dowels to length, and while it comes with sandpaper, it's difficult to sand all the pieces with it. I have a number of Warhammer 40k models so I used a metal file and some cut outs to finish the job. But if you don't have a model kit, please take it before you buy it. Pros: 1. This is one of the coolest things I've ever spent my time on, it really grabs attention and people love to look at it. In fact, it works like a safe, it can of course be broken, but it will resist3. It's very stress relieving when you put it together. vs. 1. The instructions for the lock require a lot of work, as does the instructions for cutting the dowel.2. this dry wax should be replaced with something else.3. Do you really need a model kit to perform well?
