Buy an OEM version if you want it to work.

Inexpensive fake does not burden our WiiU. While the listed output for the device is correct, the label on the back is misspelled as "ADAPTER" and the charging indicator will flash when connected to the WiiU. The device will not charge when switched off and cannot be turned on when plugged in. Spend extra money on an OEM charger!
