As I said, a bit "flexible" but overall it works very well. I used it in a 12v vertical outlet in my van during a 7000 mile trip. A 12v outlet was used for my satellite radio, one for my Garmin GPS and a USB outlet to charge my phone. No problems on this trip. It is not used in the city, only on long trips. I really like the little buttons that allow you to turn the two 12 volt outlets on and off separately. The 12 volt outlet in my van is always on, so I can easily use these buttons to turn the radio or GPS on and off when needed.
