Review on VTech CS6919 16 Cordless Phone Caller by Corey Milton

My item was bought "new - open box". I expected it. But it definitely looked used. All the cables were broken, there was dust on them, a few small imperfections on the bottom front of the phone. But what confuses me is that the battery is connected. That's why I wanted new ones. I don't really know what condition the battery is in right now, how long it's been used, charged or anything like that. I don't feel like I'm guaranteed the same battery life as if it were brand new. A better description for this item would be. I haven't been able to use the product yet because I just received it yesterday and it was still charging. Although I'm a fan of the vtech brand.
