VTech CS6919 16 Cordless Phone Caller Review

Only lasted about a year before the buttons started to fail and I had to buy a new one. Easy to use, good features and otherwise as described.

I like everything about this phone except that you cannot adjust the brightness of the LCD screen. Difficult to read names and numbers.

This device works as advertised. I use it with my Vonage service with no problem. The sound quality when making calls is excellent. The only problem is that the volume of the call is rather weak.

I used to admire VTech cordless phones, they seemed so reliable compared to Panasonics or other brands but not this model - keeps disconnecting making the sound very intermittent. Unfortunately I am forced to replace this model I have (still new) with another phone. Maybe I'll try Panasonic again, they seem to have better ratings now.

My item was bought "new - open box". I expected it. But it definitely looked used. All the cables were broken, there was dust on them, a few small imperfections on the bottom front of the phone. But what confuses me is that the battery is connected. That's why I wanted new ones. I don't really know what condition the battery is in right now, how long it's been used, charged or anything like that. I don't feel like I'm guaranteed the same battery life as if it were brand new.
