Review on πŸ”† Certified Pack of JJC Recessed Lighting Downlight by Chris Moody

Bright and Dimmable

These were great lights when I was finishing my basement. I have installed 21 of these so far and they are very easy to make. The boxes they come in are pre-cut in foam and also include a hole template. I was a little worried about how to lay them out, but if you have a new build you can use a rope and weight to hang them off the ground. Then "X” marks the location. They look stylish and work well with the dimmers I have installed. I'm a light white shade and I don't think my picture is accurate because they light up the room well. Financially this is a great buy and even better if you buy in bulk like me. I wasn't sure about using traditional lenses but I'm very happy with the result. A pack of 4 cans of lightbulbs costs about $75 at the depot. I got twice as many lamps for less money. I was already familiar with the product but I had an issue with one of the junction boxes, not the light itself. I wrote to JJC Led Lighting regarding this and not only were customer service quick to respond, they also sent me a brand new light and one brand new box. Great customer service so far! If you can get an amazing product that actually costs very well, with customer support behind it, well that hits the spot for me. I have already recommended them to another family member.

Pros
  • BIG PERFORMANCE: Energy Star certified for 80% energy savings. An output power of just 13W provides a balanced light of 850lm, which is equivalent to a 65W incandescent lamp. Frosted glass, anti-reflective and scratch-resistant.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
