This is a compact very nice little item, I bought the oak finish and it was almost the same as the photo. It was the first piece of this type I've ever assembled, so I won't admit how long it took me to do it. The instructions were so simple that I put them together myself with only two problems. The box arrived disassembled and it was very difficult for me to put it back together. And there was one screw hole that was misaligned, but it didn't affect the integrity of the product or the appearance. I keep telling myself I'm going to drill another one, but that was months ago now, so out of sight, out of memory. Anyway, I love the look of the finished product and it looks great in my guest bedroom, especially with the little drawer. The furniture isn't the best, but it's perfectly suitable for my purposes. Just have a nice, clean workspace and lots of patience when assembling.
