I bought this jacket to expand my ability to swim in an unheated outdoor pool in the fall and early spring. I'm 6ft 2in, 175lbs, athletic build. I'm size 2XL and it fit my arms, chest and waist well. Everything seemed perfect. But this jacket is not for swimming, surfing or other strenuous water sports. As soon as I got in the water, the chest and back of the jacket ballooned with cold water, and the hem of the jacket reached my navel. Hands were warm but heart was cold. the bottom of the jack around my trash with a cloth belt. It worked a bit but the jacket still absorbed a lot of cold water. I recommend the manufacturer to add a drawstring waist. I have returned this item. I think it would work as sun protection and temperature regulation when playing in the pool or sea with the kids in the off-season, but not good for keeping warm while swimming.
