Does the job. Want a nice signal? One without noise, lines introduced? Do you want to change this thing's settings? I hope you are planning to switch from VGA to VGA. Any other use of this thing is of disgusting quality and leaves a watermark (that tells you what mode it's in) and prevents you from changing settings on it and causing annoying screen noise no matter how much you fiddle with cables. Believe me. It's not the cables. The quality of the plastic itself, as well as the connectors and cables are pretty good. It comes with a cable for each input: 1 VGA, 1 Composite AV (video only) and 1 S-Video. Priced? Great. Obviously not American made, although the instructions and packaging are mostly in English. There is nothing surprising. The surprising thing is the lack of that "cheap" feel that comes with most similar products. TLDR: barely functional. Sends a signal and converts it, but turns it into one of the ugliest images you've ever seen, including a permanent watermark that will burn in with any long-term use. Settings cannot be changed when VGA output is not used.
