Does nothing. The box it came in was badly damaged. Packed by the seller in a badly battered and dented cardboard box. UPS didn't damage it as the outer packaging was perfect. The air purifier itself looks good so I don't think it's broken. It's just useless. It takes up absolutely nothing. If he can pull thin tissue up close, he can do something with the dust in the air. When I tested it, it had no suction. I also tested it in the dark to see if it picks up dust. Nothing. However, it is also surprisingly loud for its size. I have several large air purifiers and their noise level is understandable as they work really well. It does nothing but sounds like a fan.
