TMI transducers always give the best reviews so I'll share this. I have an old obsession with waxing my legs. I can't stand prickly legs and all you get from shaving is prickly legs and an almost instant itchy feeling. So since college, I've tried every hair removal product I can think of: nads, microwave wax, epilators, laser hair removal (without success, btw). I chose this product and have been using it for maybe 10 years. I think this is the safest and most effective option. First, the hot waxes or "natural" waxes that came with the fabric strips tended to stick to my skin too well so pulling the fabric back left a lot of wax and hair on my legs and it was quite painful. I have a low pain tolerance and couldn't bring myself to put an epilator on my skin to even see if it worked. This wax comes in the form of plastic strips that heat up simply by rubbing them with your hands. Then apply it, keep your skin taut and peel it off as fast as you can! I used to have to count every time - if you don't pull fast and hard, you'll end up with a problem with wax and hair on your legs. So, one, two, three, RIP! It only hurts for a split second, then everything is fine again. Over the years I've experimented with using this product right after a hot bath, heating it up with a hair dryer, letting my leg hair grow really long, etc. etc. Long leg hair helps a lot. There's nothing like heating the wax with your hands - just make sure to rub the wax a bit to rub it in and take your time with this step. The most important factor seems to be the rapid tension that goes against the direction of hair growth. I will have red bumps the next day but the soothing oil included in this kit really helps. It also removes excess wax from your skin. I never do it perfectly - there is always a little shaving to do. But with 95% hair loss the shave is quick and my legs are only 5% prickly which has been more than worth it.
