During the New England fall and winter months, I'm always cold at night. I thought an electric blanket would make sleeping more comfortable. I didn't just buy it because of the good reviews, I thought the price was reasonable. I lifted the covers and turned the dial to 4. I checked after 1/2 hour. & Nothing. There is no heat. Then I turned the knob to 8. I checked after an hour and still no heat. I will return it and buy the brand I heard about.
