I really like the feel, it feels so sharp on the cqc elite variant, very similar to Xbox One controllers . . The texture and consistency is very similar to any other rubber used for joysticks, so you don't get the really soft feel that other silicone caps have. I'm a bit annoyed by the Switch Pro controller's slick joystick surface, and I don't doubt that the "skin grip" option provides enough texture as well. In addition, "Skin Grip" and "cqc Elite" have no difference other than the inside edge of the Xbox One joystick or the lack of edge feel. I'd recommend a PS4 that's compatible with the Switch Pro controller if that's what you're looking for. They only offer the highest settings here designed for precise aiming, they are good but other than FPS I won't be using them. My only concern is installing them because you can't keep them in reverse order. like joycon and ps4 so you have to click around the edges until they are fully wrapped which might only shorten their lifespan if I take them off a lot but they stay very neat when installed properly. Instead I can just use the PS4 variant on my pro controller, depending on how they look for Smash they are higher raised and convex instead of concave. Overall I really like all of the Skull & Co thumb grips, they are fantastic, all the others on the market look really bad and can't be compared. PS4 for Smash makes input from heavy characters like Ryu and Ken MUCH more nuanced, I wouldn't recommend it unless you know the intricacies of your inputs and how much. Going back to neutral questions is definitely food for thought.
