Rolls-Royce under the pillows!

There is no one-size-fits-all pillow. It's important to get that out of the way before I start praising GhostPillow. Unfortunately you have to try it for a few nights to see if it works or not. In my situation, I bought a GhostBed a few months ago and my back felt better than it had in years! However, my neck still hurt from time to time and I decided to upgrade my pillow to something worthy of our new bed. I've always used the classic polyester-filled pillows you see in the big department stores for $10. It's just a pillow, right? They will be fine for about a week and then never retain their original loft. Down fill never worked for me as my head needs more support. My wife bought a spare memory foam pillow about a year ago and she absolutely loves it (again, pillows are very personal so we each buy our own)! I never thought I'd like it, but after "stealing" it a few times, I was convinced. Long story short I couldn't find the exact pillow she has and after searching GhostBed online I found that they make a VERY good pillow (some say pillows are even better than a bed!) . Yes, it's expensive for a pillow. We already have a bed and I was impressed so made my decision after reading the reviews on the pillow itself! It took me a few nights to get used to it, but now that I've had a few months I'm very happy. Pros: packaging. Imagine what Apple would do if they made a pillow! Support. HARD but forgiving (if that makes sense?). At first you think your head will be too high, but the memory foam follows the contours properly without feeling drowning. Cool. I never got too hot with it and there's even a nice "noise" of air when you lay down due to the design. Material. The same as the bed, soft, quilted to the touch. Also treated with lavender which fades over time but never overpowers. Cons: Cost. At $85, no one would say it's a steal, but it's hard to quantify the level of comfort. However, GhostBed does offer free pillows with purchase, but you probably aren't buying a bed just to get pillows - although the bed is pretty cool (see my other reviews here)! Also, this website has usually used pillows from people who probably got pillows for free and didn't need all of them or tried this and it just didn't work for them. personal preference. As I said at the beginning, pillows are not for everyone. My wife, who tried mine, still prefers her unbranded memory foam pillow to mine, even though it wasn't half the price. Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it will work - I'm just lucky! Five stars for the best sleep I've ever had. Worth every penny! jay
