I already have a metal mandrel for ring sizing, metal, heavy, strong and accurate. However, it was more expensive. Now that things are slowly getting better and there's talk of trade fairs and meetings again, I wanted to get another ring gauge for on the go. This time I wanted one that: 1. Inexpensive2. Lightweight yet durable 3. Accurate measurement I took a chance on this ring gauge set not expecting much from it. It costs less than $10 which makes it very affordable. I won't be upset if I suddenly lose it. It's made of high-quality plastic, so it's very light, yet strong - at least strong enough for my needs. I will not use these tools in making jewelry, I will only use them to measure existing ring and finger sizes. This is pretty accurate in terms of knowing the size of the rings. Very happy with this purchase.
