This is a very nutritious drink that I enjoy almost every morning. As with any unseasoned bone broth, I like to add salt and herbs (basil goes well with beef bone broth). Sometimes I add some cayenne pepper and/or black pepper and/or turmeric. Since it's not flavored, I can flavor it however I like. Many flavored foods contain ingredients that my body doesn't absorb well. Preparation steps if you like it as a hot or warm drink: 1. Add bone broth powder and flavorings to mug.2. Add a very small amount of boiling water, just enough to mix into a homogeneous mixture - no more than a tablespoon. It should be liquid, not runny (too much water) or pasty (not enough water). This greatly speeds up the dissolving process, as the friction can quickly break up the clumps while stirring. Add boiling water to completely dissolve. After dissolving, I add some cool water, which allows me to drink it without waiting.
