This microphone is perfect for my needs as a content creator who wants to improve the sound quality in his videos. The sound is great for the price. Noise reduction and dB control are cool features. You still have to be careful about speaking too loudly or too close to the mic, but you just have to get used to your voice and the way it sits. LOTS of cable. If you're the type who sits inches from your camera or phone, the length is overkill. And you will want to keep it together. But at least you have enough when you have to go. I give a 5 for the length of the cord because it's better to have too much than too little. In general I am very satisfied. Just plug and play and it works fine! I've noticed an increase in subscriber engagement since I started using it.
