Description of Yokohama Geolandar I/T-S G073 215/65 R16 98Q winter

Winter tires Yokohama Geolandar I / T-S G073 are designed for 4x4 all-wheel drive vehicles, SUVs and crossovers. A distinctive feature of this model from its predecessors Geolandar I / T G071 and Geolandar I / T G072 lies in the optimized shape and contact patch. The directional tread pattern is computer generated. Japanese engineers have minimized the risk of changing the shape of the Yokohama Geolandar I / T G073 tires. At the same time, they increase the stability and controllability of the car when cornering and during straight driving. Two main longitudinal grooves and two additional grooves effectively remove water, mud and melted snow from the tread surface. In this model, ordinary lamellas have been replaced by three-dimensional ones, which have a multifaceted surface. This allowed to significantly reduce the braking distance and reduce the risk of hydroplaning. The tread elements are arranged randomly, which leads to the absorption of the noise effect that occurs during driving. We recommend buying modern tires Yokohama Geolandar I / T-S G073 for installation on large cars, however, the model is so versatile that it can be successfully used on ordinary cars. These tires are often included in the basic equipment of Mitsubishi, Honda and Toyota. Yokohama G073 is a studless winter tire for the 2009 season. The latest technologies have made it possible to significantly improve the performance of the tire when driving on winter roads. Ice grip has been improved by 30%. Plus, the tire received a new design. Features of the Yokohama G073 tire - a triple absorbent compound that improves the movement of the tire on ice; — three-dimensional tread design; — three-dimensional sipes, allowing you to make tires even softer; - powerful central rib; - zigzag structure of the walls. The Yokohama Geolandar I/T-S G073 tires are designed specifically for people who demand confidence in every action from their tyres. The main characteristics of the Yokohama G073 tire are ultimate grip on ice; — effectively balanced grip on snow, wet and dry surfaces; - Improved performance tires Yokohama G073 on snowy and wet roads; - beautiful appearance for modern SUVs; - more confident driving on wet surfaces. Yokohama G073 has the best handling characteristics on dry and wet surfaces. Technology Features Lightning in the tread - triple water-absorbing compound; — triple 3-D slats; - powerful three-dimensional central rib; - powerful shoulder blocks with additional hooks on the outside; — exclusive reflective sidewall design; - Highly resilient construction. Yokohama G073 groove features - new slush grooves Through groove design with variable width from inside to outside; — improved evacuation of water, slush and snow; — the bending groove of three-dimensional shoulder blocks; - groove

Its impossible to use it, dont waste your money.

Do not buy! Take care of yourself, loved ones and those around you! When buying, I was assured that this is a premium class, Do not be fooled, do not buy into such flattery. On my bad head, I threw NOKIA Hakka 7, released in 2022 in 2022. She was studded and I could not ride her in Germany - the Fritz are fined for studding. So I decided on Velcro. I read the reviews and found that YOKOHAMA is relatively good cutting. How wrong I was . It would be better if I picked out the spikes from the…

Pros
  • softness of the ride, the car does not go, but it feels like it is floating
Cons
  • Super tyre. does not slow down from the word AT ALL. With a sharp braking, it simply glides like a children's sleigh on ice.

Satisfactory product quality, good price.

Didn't put 5 because did notrun on other tires on this car. And so 10 years behind the wheel. It rides great in the snow. Adequate, for non-studding, behavior on ice. The noise is within the normal range. Comfort is on the same level. Balanced, taking into account the size 235 / 65R18, well. I recommend. The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

I put it on a Cruiser 200. Has pros: On the snow and in the porridge is beyond praise. Good acceleration. Keeps turning. Very quiet and comfortable tire. Some cons: I got lazy and have not changed my tires for the fifth year. I go in summer. Doesn't erase!

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

Good and inexpensive winter tires. Suitable for use in the city. Normal behavior both on dry and wet pavement (subject to the driver taking into account the weather situation). Quiet enough. On snowy porridge, too, it rows normally on all-wheel drive.

I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

skated for two seasons and if it hadn’t been torn to shreds having flown into a non-metal step at the entrance of 30 cm (which is definitely my fault), I still don’t know how much I would have gone. this summer I will buy a new set, the same ps. winter is cheaper in summer. summer in winter.

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

some write nonsense, great tire. Proezdil three winters, about 15 tons km. No wear at all, never slipped anywhere. On snow like on rails, on bare wet ice it rides well, not spikes, but slowly and rides and brakes adequately. Chose a long time, no regrets. I don’t know how it drives on a monodrive, but everything is super on full. I advise you to take, and for the price more or less .

Good product, I recommend that you try it.

good tires, quite winter. But, of the four wheels, one stubbornly cannot be balanced. During the season, he balanced three times, it's useless. I always liked soft rubber, now you will think about it next time .

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

G073 I / T-S 225 / 65R18 It is on VW amarok, year-round operation Middle URAL, mileage 40,000 per year, it also holds great in summer, naturally wear is stronger, I don’t worry about changing shoes, after three years I throw it away and buy a new one. This is my second Geolandor set in six years on the Amarok. Someone writes that it slows down badly on ice, naturally it will be worse than spikes, this is perhaps the only negative, but people also take Velcro for those who have a certain driving

Pros
  • Sweeps where it seems impossible.
Cons
  • wear resistance and braking on ice, slightly worse than the previous model

I am very happy with this purchase, I will advise everyone!

Excellent tires for winter and for the north of the country - for constant snow, ice and snow-mud porridge. As the all-season does not roll - above +5 is already too soft. Wear-resistant, 5 seasons are guaranteed to roll back. Pros below: -Light (even very, for its size 285/75). - Wear-resistant. -Rows well on snow and muddy slush. Just like the vaunted M+S Cooper. - Quite dignified and predictable in the city on ice. It really sticks, and in the first winter and in the second and in the…

3 years I use only in winter on TOYOTA HIGHLENDER III in 19 radius. I live in Hong Kong. All week I drive around the city on machmal mostly, and on weekends in the suburbs to the country. There are no complaints anywhere. On porridge, it slows down and accelerates much better than on spikes. On loose snow too. It is inferior to spikes only on densely packed snow and clean ice, but this is how it should be. Miracles don't happen. In snowdrifts, until you sit on your belly, it always rakes out…

Pros
  • Relatively quiet. Rowing on any surface. Brakes great.
Cons
  • On dry pavement, a rumble is heard, but not critical.

What a horrible quality, wasted money for nothing.

265/50r20 Range Rover Sport 390hp 2.7 tons - it's really scary to drive on these tires ! do not take, look for alternatives! experience 12 years I have been riding Velcro for the last 5 years. have something to compare from budget nordman rs (very pleased) to combat michelin pilot alpin sport PA4 (on a 500 horsepower all-wheel drive car) cars that he owned with Velcro - from civilian front-wheel drive vegetables 100-200 hp - up to 500 hp all-wheel drive Unfortunately, I bought tires for…

Pros
  • Cheap. Nice drawing. Unfortunately, all
Cons
  • 1. the car does not slow down at all (even on flat tires 2. traveled more than 1000 km, ran in as it should, but I just can’t get used to them, an absolutely unpredictable slowdown ( 3. blows the car out even at a speed of 20-30km/h on ice! this is with a weak uniform traction! 4. Active driving on these tires is dangerous! 5. on the track it's scary to accelerate more than 100-120 when the ice is very uncertain grip, overtaking is very exciting when you need to slow down and wedge! have to "vegetable" on the compressor v8 6. very weak grip on slush! even when you slow down for 20 km - the ABS shoots like crazy, the car does not slow down at all 7. "super traction on ice" is a marketer's tale, tires are absolutely useless on ice and the pattern is beautiful but stupid. At T -10 and below, it's just scary to drive more than 60, in yards of 10-20 km, otherwise you risk coming to someone in the ! Today I almost arrived, braking from an icy hill at a speed of 15 km behind a sharply braked Kia - I almost came to his ! After that I decided to write a review!

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

Latvia, Grand Cherokee BK2 (2022), 255/60 p18, Velcro. I can't drive easily. For 4 seasons worn out by 70%. Enough for another season. At the same time, as they wear out, the grip properties are not lost (as in my 50% wear on Hankook, any properties were generally lost) of winter tires. In one of the unusually warm winter seasons, I noticed that at +10 the tires seem to become too soft, but in fact, my stupidity wakes up along with sunny days and I start to drive and enter turns at great speed.

Pros
  • The durability is fantastic. On the Grand Cherokee FB2 (2022) it steers absolutely adequately on asphalt, on clean asphalt, on porridge, on icy asphalt. On Sunday off-road rides, the tires proved to be very passable both on snow and in mud and sand (although it blew up to 1.1 bar).
Cons
  • I didn’t find it, although if there is “no” sound insulation on your car, you will hear a rumble. On my diesel Grande, the noise was very good, so the rumble was barely noticeable. On the Passat, where the Shumka is not very good, you will hear a rumble, but it is like a monotonous noise that does not enter into resonance at any speeds. I think this noise is normal and not annoying. Of the ones I have used, only Goodyear Ultra Grip 8 (Velcro) is better, it does not make noise at all, but it costs three times more.

The product did not disappoint, the quality pleases.

I bought these for my Freelander 2. I was looking for non-studded tires, choosing between Michelin X-Ice Latitude, Nokian R SUV. Yokohama got caught by accident. The rubber is good. Braking and stability on snow and snowy and icy roads can be rated at 4 out of 5. ABS works if you stomp on the brakes, if it is reasonable to drive and slow down in advance before a traffic jam / intersection, there are no problems at all. Lateral stability is slightly worse, a slight skid is felt when turning at…

Pros
  • quiet and comfortable tires. Great for the city if you drive with your head.
Cons
  • not very good for a snow blockage, rowing does not matter. Noticeable lateral drift in sharp turns.

I like the product, the quality didn't let me down.

Greetings to all. Pajero car. Size 265/60 R18. Skated two winters - normal flight. Because 90% in the city, then I took a non-studded one. This is my first non-studded tire, so I don’t know if this is a minus or a feature of the tires, but at high speed on snow rolled to the state of ice, and even in a turn, the car starts to skid, you add gas - it levels off and goes where it needs to. But I note that this is only on the surface close to the ice. We have such a turn in our work, someone…

Pros
  • Price. Tread pattern.
Cons
  • Dislikes ice and snow rolled to the state of ice. Balancing.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Satisfied with the product, I recommend it to everyone.

sometimes you read people's reviews and wonder, they think that if you put on winter tires, then he is the conqueror of the Arctic, the polar explorer Amudsen and Papanin rolled into one. Friends, tires are not a panacea for skidding on ice, but in addition to security systems, you also need to turn on your head. When I put this rubber on, I immediately went to a wasteland with ice and thawed patches, began to torment the car into skids, found out the optimal speed and manner of braking before…

Pros
  • soft, quiet, wear-resistant, super in deep snow
Cons
  • a conditional drawback, it’s more careful on ice, but it’s hard to find the perfect rubber for ice without spikes, all stickies have their own characteristics

I have been using Lexus LH470 for 3 years in a row as SUMMER tires. I used it a couple of times during the first snow, and this year it lasted until December - it is very dangerous to use rubber in the winter season. P If porridge is on the road, the car is not obedient. If there is ice, you are a cow on ice. When clean asphalt - you are the king of the road. Ideal for autumn-summer-spring operation on an SUV, as soft, quiet and very obedient rubber. BUT NOT IN WINTER!

Pros
  • Great soft rubber. Very quiet. Good driving performance on asphalt. Works well on wet pavement.
Cons
  • Very poor off-road capability. In winter, you can not use - you will be killed. THIS IS A SUMMER TIRE!

The item was good, I'll recommend it to my friends.

I bought this rubber before this winter 21/22. Skated 2 months has already formed some opinion about the tires. The rubber is quite soft and quiet, which milking me a big plus, as I expected just that! Stands on all-wheel drive (Subaru) and rows very well. Of the minuses, perhaps the fact that it is expected to be ineffectively slows down on ice. Well, the protector likes to "grab" small pebbles, which then fly out at speed and shoot at the arches . Overall, I'm happy with the tires.

Pros
  • Soft and fairly quiet.
Cons
  • Ice braking

I put 21213, r15 195 \ 80 on the field (the same to the external standard size. I use the second season. You can ride on this rubber only in the off-season. Michelin tires, even after using 5 seasons it keeps much better Different pros: the only plus is soft well swallows pits. pulls only in acceleration in the forward direction. as indicated by the manufacturer, it keeps well on the road when the porridge. With its cons: the car blows away already at 60 km / h (in winter) even on asphalt…

I took it for the winter for regular 19 "wheels for the CX-5 (255/55). I drove it to central Finland from Hong Kong and back + rode it there in weather from -5 to -25: it holds a snow-covered compacted road very well, holds ice-covered asphalt well, in the snow (relatively deep, at the level of the profile) it wags, but predictably - it allows you to keep the course at a speed of about 100 km / h without much effort. With a speed index and softness, it implies a careful ride, but it is not…

Pros
  • The presence of the right size, softness, stability
Cons
  • Excessive softness at zero, low speed index
