My home office chair is about 14 years old, so the seat cushion has really worn down. At this point, it has zero support and extended periods of sitting on it can lead to pain near my tailbone area. I really like the chair so I didn’t want to throw it away. I use this seat cushion for the chair now and its great! It came in this weird thicker plastic bag, folded up. It did have a mild smell to it, which evaporated pretty quickly after being taken out of the packaging. It did take a few of hours of constant sitting on the cushion to flatten it from the folded shape. As an added bonus, it adds a little bit of height to my chair, so now I’m at a perfect level with my desk. I’ve been using it for well over 2 months, about 10 hours of use 3-5 days a week and 2-3 hours 2-4 days a week, and it hasn’t lost its shape or springiness. I also use it for the floor ab workouts with Insanity. I don’t feel the pain in my tailbone like I used to during Cardio Abs, and that helps me to keep up with my workout!
