First of all the filter was placed on way too tight. Maybe deliver the filter separately from the housing and let the consumer assemble

Installation was normal, but the bowl is impossible to remove, which requires you to replace the entire unit when you need to change the filter. It seemed like it was glued on. We tried an oil filter wrench as well as manually trying to twist it off. Unfortunately, I had to pay a mechanic to install it and didn't know the bowl would not come off until it was too late. Wasted money on the mechanic and on the part.

One came in with the drain valve broken off and they are not Parker Racor filters. In the description at the top of the item page that you pull up it says "Yamaha Racor Sierra engine boat 10 micron" leading one to believe that they are Racor filters. The filters look like they would be Parker Racor as they are exact look a likes (without the Parker Racor logo), same print, same SKU numbers. Arrive quickly and all things were as advertised. Installed and used same day with no issues. Had water in my fuel tank and i used this filter successfully to strip out the water tank. I am back in business with my boat, no problems.

Came in crossthreaded let’s too much air because of it but who would of known it’s $10 versus Yamaha $50. You pay for what you get buy from someone else so you don’t get stranded like me

This fuel /water separator is exactly like a racor but half the price great product easy to hook up inline with fuel line.

Save yourself the hassle and just get a correct OEM filter and quality AN fittings. This is the second one we have attempted to use (other from a different vendor on here) and both had the same issue- poorly fitting connections and leaks. Quality control should not be optional at any price.

This product looks nice but is not good I installed in my boat and for some reason estar liked from de top of de folter base. The filter is shepherd but is non good and I see the reviews and they have the same situation.

The filter/sep functioned as expected for a while, until I ran into an issue with the plastic bowl. I contacted the company(with pics) and they are honoring their warranty and a replacement is being sent out. Prompt customer service!

It comes with AN fittings and the installation was no problem at all. The price was right at $30 which it is worth it. Cracked along connection point. Gas leaked out. Useless.

leaks from gap where barbs connect to filter body (black piece). From the looks of it all these sub $20 filters are out of the same chinese factory. Going to buy from Sierra International hopefully its better.

I used this part to replace the old one on my Mercury/Tohatus 25HP motor. It was a perfect fit. I couldn't buy the nylon filter that goes inside the housing.

Filter works just as good as the Mercury OEM filter. I will order and use this filter at my next scheduled maintenance. May not be compatible with older models or different car brands.

Ordered this for an exact replacement on a 50 Hp Yamaha 2 stroke outboard. Came quick, easy to install and worked perfectly.

Working well as of now, the fittings seemed a little cheap but I used them and will probably swap them out with better ones before next season

The tube fittings and plug are very loose fitting with the taper pipe fit machining in the housing. Continually leaks fuel even with teflon and torqued all the way into housing. DANGEROUS! You can tell the fittings are low quality because they are thinnest wall I have ever seen on brass fuel fitting. Very cheap import knock-off off OEM part.
