Review on VIOTEK Reaper RFI25CBA Extreme Gaming Monitor 24.5", 1920X1080P, 144Hz, Adjustable Tilt, Adaptive Sync, Frameless Design, Pivot Function, HD, IPS by Swami Shuster

This monitor is great! I only have 2 problems with it. First, when I set it to 180Hz, I get color bars. I first noticed this when painting a car in Forza Horizon 4. When I changed the tint, the stripes moved across the body of the car. After seeing it there, I noticed it in other places as well. Lowering the refresh rate to 165 Hz fixes the issue. I haven't tried hacking 240Hz to see if it works there. Second, and more importantly, since carelessness can damage the monitor, the stand doesn't fit the monitor snugly. Latch does not fully engage. When I use it in a landscape, which I prefer anyway, it hangs on the stand and doesn't fall off. But I can pull the bottom of the screen and it slides away from the bottom of the connector toward the stand. When I pick it up, the stand falls over. If I ever want to use it in portrait photography, it's likely to fall off and possibly break. Now I have it where I like it, but if I ever have to move it I'll have to be very careful.
