To me, this monitor is an upgrade from two 17-inch digital LCDs side-by-side. I like him. No dead pixels, vivid colors, low latency and elegant design. The lack of stripes, the look and feel of the Prey and Ghost Recon are fantastic, and the X-pattern backlighting issue that a lot of people are talking about is so minor it's not even worth mentioning. I preferred it to the more expensive Dell in the same weight class, which has been reported by many as a serious banding issue. I was concerned about the lack of an adjustable stand, but the height is perfect and with the tilt range available, you'll certainly be able to find the right viewing angle. I am very happy with my purchase!
