The doorbell is great. It was easy to train my dog to use it. (He uses it to ask to come back IN the house when he is out romping around the yard.) The instructions inside the box do not mention attaching the bell with VELCRO. It is suggested on the ebay website, but I didn't notice that and followed the instructions that came in the box and attached it with the double sided sticky. A few days later I realized that it is going to be a PAIN to replace the battery since the doorbell will have to be removed for that and I will have to get all the gunk off our porch post, etc.Other than that, so far so good. Can't really attest to its durability since I just installed it but it seems ok.
