I originally went to Best Buy to buy a new 6" VGA cable to connect my PC to my 42" LCD TV (VGA inputs ) connect to. They only had their own generic brand available and wanted $25 for the cable. Disappointed I also stopped at Radio Shack and left because they also wanted $25 for video cables. to see if the quality of the cable is giving a good picture from a photo I'm replacing another cable I bought online that was weak (thin) and gave a below average picture - this time a greenish and weird yellow shadow behind all the pictures I really wanted to state that the cable is more the size of a dime than a pencil, which I think is a good indication of the overall quality of the materials used in the manufacturing process. See the Startech cable is quite large in diameter and gives a great picture on my 42" monitor. This cable works very well and is potentially stolen (I was able to buy it for about $10) if you use an OEM cable need to replace or if you bought a PC without a monitor and want to hook it up to a flat screen TV like I did.
