I needed a sharpener for my workshop and an electric but portable one. This sharpener can do everything and more! The last thing we had was an old office sharpener, which worked fine, but I wanted something that worked better but wasn't tied to an outlet. I saw this one and got it. When it arrived I honestly wasn't expecting much. It looks cool but I wasn't sure if it would work the way I wanted it to. I can only say WOW! This is amazing stuff! After charging it with a USB connection (it comes with a cable but no electrical adapter) I easily popped the pencil in, it was sharpened in seconds and threw the pencil away when it was done. The pencil came out sharp - just as sharp as I love my pencils - and finished MUCH faster than our old office sharpener! The footprint is smaller, it's easier to clean, and I don't have to tie it to anything other than charging. This makes it so portable and easy to use at any of my work stations. The device is also attractive from the outside. I just love this charger! I found that the boss even visited my area to use in place of our old office. I think I'll order him one to keep on his desk and get rid of the old one in the office. So far I haven't noticed anything negative about this sharpener, nor the boss, who is otherwise very critical of such things. Two thumbs up for that. It is highly recommended by my whole family!
