After 3-4 uses/washing of this flat sheet I haven't noticed any pilling or damage. Nothing got dirty even when washing. I think it doesn't fit perfectly straight and it feels a little smaller than my other king sized sheets, but for the most part I'm happy with it. I really wanted a flat sheet in that particular color and it needed to be light and thin enough to be cool and comfortable during the hottest part of summer. It feels more cheap/satin than soft brushed cotton. I probably wouldn't buy again unless I really needed a spare flat blade in a pinch. But I'm not disappointed with this either. It seems suitable for minimal/guest use but I wouldn't say it's gift quality.
